    Executive Director

    Kim Cross has over 30 years in nonprofits working with women, children and families. She has been in in her current role as Executive Director of Nyack Center for 23 years. She is the chair of Rockland Institute for Nonprofits and serves on the Boards of: Nyack Rotary and Rockland Schools of the 21st Century. Kim is a graduate of Emerson College, Leadership Rockland and a RBA 40 Under 40 Recipient. A passionate advocate for children and families, Kim is committed to building an equitable and strong community. Originally from Cazenovia, NY, Kim lives in Nyack, NY and has two children, Conor and Kate.

  • Rochelle Burke

    Vice Director

    Rochelle Burke is a native Nyacker, wife and the proud mom of 5-year-old Miles and baby Maiya. She recently received her Masters in Special Education from Grand Canyon University. She is the Vice-Director at Nyack Center. She is an Advisory Board Member for SOAR Mentorship, Board Member of The Black Parents Association and active in her church.

    Program Director

    Dolly Tassy was born and raised in Nyack. She graduated from Mount St Mary’s College with a degree in Human Services. Dolly is the “Ray of Sunshine” and Program Director at Nyack Center. Dolly had her first job at Nyack Center and has worked in her current position for 6 years.

  • In addition to our full-time team, the Nyack Center is lucky to have a dynamic team of part-time, seasonal, and student employees. They bring endless ideas, energy, and spirit to the Nyack Center, and we wouldn’t be where we are without them!

  • 16 members strong, our board members fundraise, donate, network, ask, beg, dress up, dress down, wear costumes, recruit, worry, plan, build and ride floats, work and work some more to ensure the future of our beloved Nyack Center!

    Our Board of Directors meet 10 times a year. They are elected for 3 year terms, and can serve a maximum of 2 terms (6 years total).
